Testimony of Billy Evans
My name is Billy Evans, a born again believer and a sinner saved by grace. I am 65 years of age. I reside in Montgomery, Al. and am a member of Hunter Station Baptist Church. In March of 2009, GOD gave a ministry to me, to take with me everywhere I go, until I am called home. This ministry is called I STAND UP FOR GOD. But it also is a ministry for everyone. And it is a non-profit ministry. It serves as an opportunity to encourage all Christian believers to STAND UP FOR GOD. For now is the time to stop being an easy as we go, a let all things just be, kind of people. For when we were born again, we became different than this world. We are not to look the other way and and let sin run rampant. We have a responsibility in the name of GOD, to stand against it.
How can we change things as they currently are? Begin to STAND UP FOR GOD. To never be ashamed or timid to be called children of GOD. We must be proud and honored, and gladly tell all the world who we are and why.
We must insist that our elected leaders start doing the will of OUR GOD. After all when they took their oath of office, the last four words were "SO HELP ME GOD". Are they praying and asking GOD to lead them ???
If we look everyday at what is going on in this world, it is very easy to see what GOD is allowing and why. You only have to study the BIBLE to know all the destruction that HE let happened, because of disobedience. These same things are happening today. If there is any hope, then it lies in the power of ALMIGHTY GOD. 2Chronicles 7:14; if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. That is a very powerful promise. This clearly means that we, the children of GOD must be obedient. We must always do as the scriptures say. That can start with us standing up for the ONE, the ONLY ONE, the CREATOR of all things, the ALMIGHTY GOD!!!
I pray that you will join me in this ministry. Let's always proudly STAND UP FOR GOD. For HE has always been our only hope. You will truly be blessed. Lapel pins and bumper stickers are available. These items well serve as a witness of who you are. The slogan alone will plant seeds for GOD'S nurturing. While there are no costs for these items, any love offering would be accepted to cover expenses. So give only what GOD lays upon tour heart. This ministry will grow with the true blessings of GOD.
